From my kitchen to yours.
Hi, I’m Ivy! I’m the chef and owner of 2 Birds Kitchen. I discovered my passion for cooking as a young child, continued my experience working in restaurants, and graduated culinary school with a specialization in plant-based and gluten-free cuisine. As an avid runner and yoga enthusiast, I love nothing more than combining my love of nutrition with delicious, comfort food.
My philosophy is that we eat well because we love our bodies, not as a punishment. This is why you’ll never find a boring salad on our menu, in fact- I don’t put anything on our menu that I personally don’t love to eat. I try to offer as many plant-based options as possible, because as a vegan I know how hard it is to find great plant-based prepared foods (and I know how tired we all are of black bean patties).
At 2 Birds we use all organic ingredients, and as much local produce and meat as we can find. All the meat we cook with is hormone-free, grass fed and/or free range. We are constantly looking for ways to shop local, and support small business. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your life!
